Event Highlights
We had a beautiful testimony given by Sandra, one of our Ohana mommas, while her fiancé stood on stage in support:
Sandra came to Ohana after seeing a positive home pregnancy test. She came to the Community Conscience building (Ohana’s building sponsor!) seeking insurance support. The Free Clinic directed Sandra to Ohana after she asked for an ultrasound and pregnancy support.

Sandra called the number given and was greeted by Bryanna. When Bryanna asked if her pregnancy was unplanned, Sandra replied “Yes.” She cried and explained that she was overwhelmed. Bryanna set up an appointment for Sandra to meet and learn more, and to get an ultrasound with our Nurse Chelsea. Sandra said she was worried the Ohana staff might be the type of people that are just there to get a paycheck, but she found that they are purpose-driven, passionate employees.
Sandra remembered receiving the ultrasound from Chelsea and that it was the prettiest ultrasound she has seen. When she saw her baby on the monitor, she felt so much peace and that everything would be okay. Chelsea told Sandra that her baby was flipping around and looked like she was doing yoga! Sandra said she will never forget venting to Chelsea and telling her she felt shame because she was a Christian and she did things at the wrong time. She knew she would keep her baby though. Abortion would not be an option despite having the voices of people telling her not to get pregnant.
Chelsea asked Sandra if she could pray with her and Sandra said yes. Chelsea prayed and said God will honor Sandra for choosing life. Sandra went on to talk about her appreciation for the Ohana team walking with her throughout her pregnancy. She shared that Ohana is a beacon of light placed by God, and that she has received so much spiritual, emotional, and lots of support overall. Her first baby clothes came from Ohana’s baby boutique.

Christy, one of our advocates, shared about the experience she had with delivering her own babies, which eased Sandra’s nerves as she went into labor. Bryanna prayed for Sandra when she had thoughts of anxieties. She felt the compassion and comfort from the Ohana family. Sandra said that she would love for other women to experience the same light and support that she has received and that it is thanks to donors like those who were in attendance. Sandra’s baby Olivia was born in August of 2025 – we encourage you to continue to pray over their family!
If you feel compelled by stories like Sandra’s, or by the work you’ve learned Ohana is doing in the community, we ask that you consider contributing to our ministry. Ohana Health is 100% donor-funded and needs your help!

Your contributions allow us to provide free pregnancy testing & ultrasounds, material assistance, pregnancy & parenting classes, resources, a compassionate listening ear, and foundationally – an opportunity to share the love of Jesus to women facing unplanned pregnancies.
Please feel free to share some of your favorite parts of this year’s event or something you’d enjoy seeing next year!
Thank you for your continued support and God bless you!
