Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Need an Ultrasound?

Yes, we always recommend that women receive an ultrasound after receiving a positive pregnancy test at our clinic. The Mayo Clinic reports up to 20% of known pregnancies end in a natural miscarriage. You can still get a positive result on a pregnancy test and no longer be pregnant for days or even weeks following a miscarriage.

Confirm your pregnancy with an ultrasound to determine your pregnancy option by confirming gestational age, the location of your pregnancy, and the viability of your pregnancy (if it’s healthy and growing).

How Do I know if I’m Pregnant?

Though every woman’s pregnancy journey is unique, according to the Mayo Clinic, common signs of pregnancy include:

  • A missed period
  • Tender, swollen breasts
  • Nausea with or without vomiting
  • Increased urination
  • Fatigue
  • Moodiness

If you experience any of these common pregnancy symptoms, it may point to pregnancy. Confirm your pregnancy with no-cost pregnancy testing today.

For your appointment, you will meet with a Registered Nurse, who will perform a pregnancy test, provide you with pregnancy test results, and review your medical history. We provide medical grade pregnancy tests that can detect HCG, the hormone that is present soon after conception. If your test result turns out positive, Ohana Health can present you with a confirmation of pregnancy.
